Joliet Woman Rams 4 Cars While Trying to Run Over Romeoville Man in Motel Parking Lot: Cops
The woman missed the man but hit the cars, police said.

A Joliet woman failed to run over a Romeoville man with her van but did manage to ram four cars parked in a McDonough Street motel lot, police said.
Tyreesa White, 24, was charged with criminal damage to property and domestic battery in connection with her alleged Sunday morning attack on the 24-year-old man outside the Red Roof Inn.
Bystanders watched White attack the man with her hands and then saw a 17-year-old girl leap out of a Dodge Caravan and join in the assault, police said.

White and the teen then got in the van and the man punched the vehicle as it was pulling away. White responded by repeatedly attempting to back the van into the man, police said. While she reportedly kept missing him, she remained undiscouraged and kept on trying, despite hitting four parked cars in the process.
White finally drove off. Officers later found the van parked behind a dumpster outside the Bob Evans restaurant next-door. The teen was asleep inside the vehicle, police said. After officers woke her, she was reportedly groggy and smelled of alcohol.

Officers called the teen’s mother and sent her home to Hazel Crest pending possible future charges, police said.
The Romeoville man later reappeared at the Red Roof and tried to cajole and bribe staff into letting him get into room 205, police said.
When officers got there, the man, who was scratched up and injured, proved to be less than cooperative and left, police said. The cops then reportedly found cocaine and heroin in the room, and a revolver in the safe.
White then reportedly made her way over to the Bob Evans parking lot while the Caravan was being towed away. She stood staring at a police sergeant until he asked if he could help her, police said. White reportedly told him, “I’m the one you’re looking for,” and then admitted to everything.
