Joliet Woman Stuffed Into Garbage Can, Goes To ER: Police
The victim sought treatment for minor injuries sustained in the attack at the Edwards emergency room in Plainfield on 127th Street.

JOLIET, IL — A 48-year-old man from Crest Hill is now behind bars at the Will County Jail after Joliet police say Jesus Herrera attacked a woman last month and threw her into a garbage can during his violent outburst
Herrera's arrest happened around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, he's being charged with four counts of domestic battery.

Back on the morning of September 26, Joliet police officers responded to the Edward Hospital Plainfield emergency room at 24600 West 127th Street for a past tense domestic battery.
The crime actually happened at a house in the 2100 block of Joliet's Webster Avenue on Sept. 20 when Herrera struck the woman in the face with an open hand, punched her in the chest, and he threw her into a garbage can.

Herrera left the house and the victim sought treatment for minor injuries sustained in the attack at the Edwards emergency room in the days that followed.
Joliet's detectives obtained an arrest warrant for four counts of domestic battery for Herrera on September 28. Then on Sunday, around 2:30 a.m., Joliet police were called to the same address in the 2100 block of Webster for another disturbance.
"Officers arrived and located Herrera on the property and placed him into custody," English announced in Monday's press release. Herrera comes from the 1700 block of North Hickory Street, his jail logs show.
