The Joliet Park District issued the following statement at the end of Friday's business hours.

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Park District executive director Brad Staab announced that all park facilities, including its three 18-hole public golf courses across Joliet, are being closed until April because of coronavirus concerns.
"Due to the evolving situation with COVID-19, effective end of day Tuesday, March 17 through Tuesday, March 31, all Joliet Park District facilities will be closed and all programs will be canceled," Staab said.
