JTHS seeks volunteers for new Community Ambassador Program

The program aims to support meaningful communication between JTHS schools and the community

Joliet Township High School invites all parents/guardians, alumni, and community members to volunteer in the new JTHS Bridge Builders Ambassador Program, which aims to support meaningful communication between JTHS schools and the community.

The JTHS Bridge Builders Ambassador Program has been established to achieve Strategy 6.2 of the district’s Strategic Plan, which calls for the “creation and implementation of a family and community group that aggressively builds relationships between District 204 families and staff in order to enhance the educational experience of all students.”

The overall objectives of the program are to increase parent knowledge about their child’s school and education, to engage parents in the district’s community building efforts, to stimulate the involvement of parents in advocating for their students, and to share information with the school and district.
