July 4th Jailbirds: Special Will County Edition

JOLIET, IL - Today is a special day in this country. It's a chance to barbecue with friends, grill some hot dogs and burgers. But out on the street, for our Will County area police officers, it's business as usual. They are still working hard trying to stop criminal activity and keep our roads safe. Here's your look at the latest arrests that have occurred across Will County from the past day.

JOHN WELSH, 36, Crest Hill, arrested by Crest Hill Police on two counts of violating bail.

DANIEL HUERTA, 22, 700 block of Abe Street, Joliet, arrested by Joliet Police on charges of mob action, resisting arrest, causing a child to be endangered and domestic battery.

DYLAN MILITELL, 20, Romeoville, arrested by Illinois State Police District 5 on nine criminal charges including drunken driving, aggravated drunken driving, driving more than 35 miles per hour over the speed limit, illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and driving on a suspended license.

JASON MCDERMOTT, 40, Lockport, arrested by Will County on charges of two 2014 domestic battery charges as well as a driving while revoked charge.

ALFREDO MARTINEZ, 58, Chicago, arrested by Will County on a fugitive warrant out of Las Vegas.

NICHOLAS O'BRIEN, 21, Oak Lawn, arrested by Manhattan Police on charges of DUI-drugs, possessing Ecstasy, possessing LSD and possessing pot.

ANGELA SLADEK, 35, Romeoville, arrested by Crest Hill on charges of domestic battery.

RAYMOND KROLL, 49, Day Break homeless shelter, Joliet, arrested by Joliet Police on charges of possessing controlled substances and possessing drug paraphernalia.

JOE LEWIS WILLIAMS, 39, 2100 block of Arthur Avenue, Lockport, arrested by Will County on charges of violating a protection order.

MARIA ORTIZ, 43, 400 block of Landau Avenue, Joliet, arrested by Joliet Police on charges of mob action and aggravated battery.
