K Ribs BBQ Adds Delivery Service
Joliet's one-of-a-kind new Korean restaurant opened in October.

JOLIET, IL - Winter is upon us. Cold weather and blustery winds can be bad news for sit-down restaurants, but the owners of Joliet's new K Ribs BBQ have just started a delivery service to bring their food to you.
A new neon sign went up this week in the front window of the downtown Joliet restaurant on North Chicago Street. The new Korean restaurant is next to the Joliet Junior College Culinary Arts campus.
So far, owner Dillon Kim told Patch, business has been very strong since K Ribs opened in October, offering "Korean-American Fusion barbecue."

However, Kim said it was always his intention to offer a delivery service around the Joliet area as part of the new restaurant. For now, people who call K Ribs for the delivery service need to live within a five-mile radius of the downtown Joliet restaurant.
The minimum order should be about $30, Kim said.

"This will be good for people in a work place or if the weather is cold, and they don't want to be driving," he said.
By offering the delivery service within a 5-mile radius of downtown Joliet, K Ribs wants to make sure all the delivery orders "should be warm and fresh."
The phone number to call for carryout or delivery service at K Ribs BBQ is 779-242-1152.
One more thing: A week from today, Friday, Nov. 23, marks downtown Joliet's popular Light Up The Holidays Festival and Parade, along North Chicago Street. K Ribs BBQ plans to give away lots of free food samples to families venturing downtown to watch the parade, Kim said.
