JOLIET, IL — A 29-year-old Joliet man who was arrested by Joliet police in late February on aggravated driving under the influence charges faces the prospect of parting ways with his 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe. The Will County State's Attorney's Office of Jim Glasgow has filed a civil forfeiture complaint against Wesley Hoehn-Ruiz surrounding his arrest on Feb. 26 by Joliet police.

According to the complaint, two Joliet police officers were patrolling Jefferson Street together when they saw the defendant's Chevrolet Tahoe pull out of the parking lot in the 1600 block of West Jefferson and travel westbound in the eastbound lanes of traffic.

Hoehn-Ruiz then pulled into the Tacos El Tio restaurant at 1606 W. Jefferson St. where the officers conducted the traffic stop. Hoehn-Ruiz had glassy eyes and looked lethargic, the court records reflect.
