Man Beats Up Girlfriend, Joliet Police Taser Him: PD
He stopped resisting once the Taser was deployed, according to police.

JOLIET, IL — A 48-year-old Joliet man was jolted with a taser after Joliet Police say he attacked his girlfriend and refused to obey the police. The arrest of Cardell McTizic, in the 2100 block of Tamarack Drive, occurred on Saturday afternoon, shortly before 2 p.m. McTizic was charged with domestic battery and resisting a peace officer, according to Joliet Police.
Joliet squad cars rushed to the house at 1:48 p.m. on Feb. 16 for "a disturbance" call. "While on scene, officers were able to determine that McTizic had battered his girlfriend. When officers went to place McTizic in custody, McTizic began to actively resist the Officers by spinning around," police reports show.
McTizic was warned by the Joliet Police that if he didn't behave, the officers would need to use a Taser, but the warning apparently didn't faze him, police reports indicate.
