Man Shot At Raynor, Theodore Streets: Crest Hill Police

Thursday evening's non-fatal shooting prompted to Joliet and Crest Hill officers to respond to the busy intersection.

CREST HILL, IL — A man in his 20s suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds around 6 p.m. Thursday near the busy intersection of Theodore Street and Raynor Avenue. The young man was shot inside a vehicle, according to Crest Hill Police Chief Ed Clark.

Clark told Joliet Patch that officers are still trying to determine if the gunshots came from another vehicle or if the shooter was walking along the street.

Crest Hill police asked anybody who has information related to the shooting to call police detectives at 815-741-5111.
