Mysterious Object Stabs Woman In The Back: Joliet Police
The victim went to Silver Cross Hospital, where she was treated for the injury and released.

JOLIET, IL — A 28-year-old violent man from Joliet's southeast side, Tyler Johnson, is now in the Will County Jail after Joliet police say he stabbed a woman in the back during an argument over the weekend.
For the fourth time since 2017, Johnson finds himself locked up in the county jail. This time, the Eastern Avenue apartment unit tenant is being charged with aggravated battery and domestic battery.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, the following events led to Johnson's latest incarceration by city police:

At 11:21 a.m. on Saturday, officers responded to the front desk of a Joliet Police Department for a report of a domestic disturbance that happened several hours earlier in the 1000 block of Draper Avenue.
Officers learned that earlier that morning at approximately 2:30 a.m., Johnson began to argue with the victim, and he became physical, striking her in the eye. Johnson then ran off from the residence.

A short time later, the victim discovered a stab injury to her back resulting from the altercation with Johnson, but it was unknown to her what object was used to stab her.
The victim went to Silver Cross Hospital, where she was treated for the injury and released. She then reported the incident to the Joliet Police Department and officers responded to Johnson's apartment unit in the 100 block of South Eastern Avenue and placed Johnson into custody without incident.
