Neighbor Dispute Leads To Joliet Man's Arrest On Morris St: Cops
Joliet police arrested Travion Thompson, age 37, on three counts of aggravated assault to a peace officer, disorderly conduct and assault.

JOLIET, IL — A 37-year-old Joliet man is now lodged behind bars in the Will County Jail in connection with Sunday night's incident in the 100 block of Morris Street.
Joliet police say Traveon Thompson was arrested on three counts of aggravated assault to a peace officer, disorderly conduct and assault.

- At 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Morris Street for a disturbance. Officers found an intoxicated Thompson and learned he was involved in an argument with a neighbor while lifting the front of his shirt to insinuate that he may be armed.
- When officers tried to speak with Thompson, he grew angry and threatened to fight them. On three separate occasions, Thompson angrily approached the officers while threatening to fight them. Following the third time, the officers took Thompson into custody without further incident.
