New Assistant Principals Named for Troy Schools

New assistant principals were named for three Troy Community School District 30-C schools this month. They will begin their positions in Troy schools this summer.

Jennifer Munday, currently a Troy Middle School eighth-grade English Language Arts teacher, will be assistant principal at William B. Orenic Intermediate School, replacing current AP Colleen Connolly. Connolly will be principal of Troy Shorewood Elementary School.

Jessica Yborra, currently a Homer Community School District 33C early childhood teacher, will be assistant principal at Troy Crossroads Elementary School. Yborra replaces current Crossroads AP Susan Behun.

Carole Zurales, currently a Homer Community School District 33C first-grade teacher, will be assistant principal at Troy Shorewood Elementary School. Zurales replaces current Shorewood AP Matt Oldenburg.
