New Restaurant Replacing The Keg In Joliet

After being open four years, Catrina's Mex closed in May, but the property that once housed The Keg is coming back to life in Joliet.

JOLIET, IL — In spite of having 312 Google Reviews, averaging 4.4 stars out of 5, downtown Joliet's Catrina's Mex authentic Mexican cuisine restaurant went out of business in May and that left many people across the Joliet area disappointed.

But with September here, there is optimism on the horizon for 20 West Jackson St., the restaurant property that became a local landmark when it was known as The Olde Keg pizzeria.

A bright banner is now being displayed along Jackson Street alerting motorists that Don Orlando's Restaurant is coming soon.
