Age 69, of Joliet, IL passed peacefully at home Thursday, May 4, 2022.

He was born June 7, 1952 to the late June (Higgins) and Donald F. Cain in Chicago, IL where he was raised and educated.
Beloved husband of 38 years to Theresa "Terri" (Vanderford) Cain; loving father of Donald G. (Carrie) Cain; proud G. Pa of Landen and Jazlyn; fond brother of Barbara (Ralph) Youngberg and the late Linda Swider; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Many extended family members and friends also survive.

Don retired from the Joliet Park District in 2012 after many years of service. He was an avid golfer and fan of the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs.
As it was Don's wish, cremation rites will be accorded.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Sidelines Sports Bar, 2006 W. Jefferson St., Joliet, IL.
