Barbara was the epitome of a diehard Cubs fan, even cutting phone conversations short if it interfered with their game schedule. When she wasn't cheering on the Cubs, she could be found in the kitchen preparing a delicious meal for the ones she loved while listening to whatever music moved her soul in that moment. Her go to artist was Elvis, he stole her heart long ago. She recently found joy in gardening around her home, tenderly caring for the vegetables, allowing others to harvest which ones they wanted, usually leaving her with none for herself. Barbara will be fondly remembered for her quick wit and great sense of humor. If you were lucky enough to know her, you knew how much she loved telling her “how nice” joke.
Barbara is survived by her children, Lori (Thomas) Cullick, Traci Kozlowski, and Brian (Sarah) LeRoy; her grandchildren, Madison (Rylan) Bannon, Olivia McGrath, Jillian Kozlowski, Caroline Kozlowski, Colin LeRoy, Benjamin LeRoy, and Jessica Cullick; her great-granddaughters, Montana and River Bannon; her life-long best friend, Gail Hart Kaiser. Numerous, much loved nieces and nephews from the Hart and Daniels families also survive.
