Barbara Williamson
Barbara Williamson passed away peacefully, at the age of 90, on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. Barbara was born in Taylorville, IL, on February 6, 1933, the daughter of the late Robert and Eula (nee Warren) Wiley.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Barbara’s greatest joy was her family.
Barbara is survived by her children; Pamela(Victor) Kovacs, Greg(Terry) Williamson, and Todd(Michelle) Williamson; grandchildren, Christopher(Tanya) Kovacs, Craig Kovacs, Adam Kovacs, Kyle Williamson, Sean Williamson, Jeff(Samantha) Williamson, and Jenae Williamson; great-grandchildren Makenna Kovacs, Trevor Kovacs, Shay O’Donnell, and Ivy Williamson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter A. Williamson.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Lightways Hospice, and Sunny Hill Nursing Home for the wonderful care they gave to Barbara.
Visitation for Barbara Williamson will be held Sunday, July 16, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 3:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road (at Essington Rd.), Joliet, IL 60431. Interment will be private at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Lightways Hospice.
