Bridget Christine DeZee

(nee Mau)

Age 43, of Joliet, IL and formerly Florida and Georgia, passed from this life Monday May 2, 2022. She was born February 18, 1979 to Margaret and the late Frederick Mau in Joliet where she was raised and educated, a graduate of Joliet Central High School.

She is the beloved wife of Raymond DeZee, Sr.; loving mother of Raymond, Jr., Brianna Brown, Molly Rae and Jesse James DeZee; proud grandmother of two grandchildren and dear aunt of several, including Thomas Russell, II and great-nephew, Jordyn Noe. She will also be missed by her mother-in-law, Jeanne DeZee; sisters-in-law, Greta DeZee Scalpelli and Kathryn (Richard) DeZee Nations as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by her father and sister, Sonja Mau Thameling.

Bridget will be remembered as a fun-loving Mom who adored her kids and grandchildren. Nothing made her smile brighter than doing “Mom” things. Whether it was coloring, swimming or just being outdoors with the kids, there was nothing more important to her than spending those precious moments with those she loved the most.

All friends and relatives are invited to a Memorial gathering on Saturday May 28, 2022 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Joliet First Church of God, 1805 E. Laraway Rd., Joliet.
