Carol J. Rolnik
Carol J. Rolnik, age 82, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2025, at St. Joseph Medical Center, in Joliet, with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 31, 1943, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (nee Flinn) Frederick.

Carol was the most generous and loving person, whose kindness touched everyone she met. Loved by many, she will be remembered for her warm heart, her selfless spirit, and the way she made others feel cherished. She loved to gamble, especially playing the slot machines, and even made it to the new casino in Joliet.
Carol is survived by her children, Ron Luttrell, Tom Luttrell, Shane Hise, Randy Hise, and Rhonda Echols; grandchildren, Daja, Nick, Travis, Ashley, and Melanie; great-grandchildren, Adrian, Alijah, and one more great-granddaughter, Aylani to be born in January of 2026; sister, Gloria Viano; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Angel; and sister, Donna Talley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be made to the family through their Go Fund Me.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Due to her request, cremation rites have been accorded.
