Donna Kaye Diding departed this world on August 17, 2023, at the age of 83. She was born in Bluford, Illinois, to the late Chancey and Anna Mae (nee Frye) Maxey.

Donna was the beloved mother of Jeanette (David) Seely, Warren (Julie) Hoffman, Darren (Connie) Hoffman and Max Dallas Hoffman. She was a doting grandmother to Warren (Sarah) Hoffman Jr., Nikki (Richard) Santos, Brandon Prange and Chancey Hoffman; as well as her great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Diding; eldest son, Warren; granddaughter, Nina Marie; and loving brothers, Denver, Clyde and Conrad Maxey.

Donna’s life with be celebrated with a Memorial Gathering on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road (at Essington Road) Joliet, IL, from 10:00 am until the time of funeral service at 12:00 pm. Inurnment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park, 23060 West Jefferson Street, Joliet.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet IL 60431 would be appreciated.
