Age 82, of Joliet, IL passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Lightways Hospice Home of Joliet.

He was born July 25, 1940 to the late Florence (nee Spisak) and Francis J. Siddon, Sr.

Beloved husband of June (nee Graves) Konow Siddon; loving father of Deborah L. Paull, Judith A. Douglass (John F. Kuchta), Lynn (Will) McGee and Butch Douglass; proud papa of Gary (Michelle) Kurbis, Jr., Shaun Paull, Heather Paull; Emma McGee and Hannah McGee; dearest great-papa of four and great-great papa of two. Also surviving are sisters, Carol (Rocco) Guglielmucci and Joyce (late Sam) Chirich as well as many nieces, nephews and his cherished pets, Zoe and Felix.

Preceded in death by his grandsons, Keith M. Douglass and Nicholas L. Paull; sister, Nancy Wright and his parents.

Frank was a retired carpenter and life member of the Carpenters Union, Local #174 and also a member of First Presbyterian Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, naturally being a member of Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed watching sports on TV, especially the Chicago Cubs and Bears. He also was a huge fan of JCA Football, Home Cut Donuts, Babe’s Hot Dogs and Portillo’s Chocolate Cake…if he could manage a few handfuls of potatoe chips in between the above-mentioned delicacies, then that to Frank was a perfect day.

Visitation for Francis “Frank” Siddon, Jr. will be Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 10 a.m. until services begin at 11 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet. Rev. Dr. Craig M. Herr will officiate. Interment will be private at Woodlawn Memorial Park II (Hills of Rest).

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name can be made to Lightways Hospice or Ducks Unlimited.
