John W. Logodzinski

John W. Logodzinski, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 42, on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at his home in Crest Hill, IL. John was born in Elmhurst, IL, on January 23, 1980, the son of William V. Logodzinski and Christina E. Weber. He grew up in West Chicago, IL. He was a graduate of West Chicago High School and attended Universal Technical Institute. John was formerly employed as a Bus Driver with First Student Transportation. John had a strong personality and liked to keep to himself. Regardless, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, especially his family. He enjoyed listening to music, watching trains and was always up for sharing a meal and having conversation with his mom. He was a collector of hats, watches, and CD’s.

John is survived by his mother, Christina Logodzinski; his siblings, Thomas C. (Robin) Poskocil, Andrea Schlick, Charles (Corry) Poskocil and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

He is preceded by his father,William Logodzinski; and his twin brother, Joe Logodzinski.

Visitation for John W. Logodzinski will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet, IL, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. As it was his request, cremation rites will be accorded.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to The Epilepsy Foundation or The American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
