Obituary: Kristofer Edward Rinck

His knowledge of sports stats was impressive; his favorite teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and LA Rams.

Kristofer Edward Rinck

Age 30, of Joliet, Illinois, passed from this life Saturday morning July 5, 2025, surrounded by family, at the Lightways Hospice Home of Joliet.

Kris was born December 2, 1994 in Maywood, Illinois. He was raised in the Joliet area and was a graduate with the class of 2013 from Joliet West High School.

He is survived by his devoted parents, Sandra L. (Darrell) Goble and Kevin M. Rinck, Sr.; brothers, Kevin M. (Machiko) Rinck, Jr and Michael J. Rinck. Kris is the proud uncle of Leyton, Haley, Kayden; Leighton, Theo, Vinny and Vitalia. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins; many good friends and his cat, Jackie.

For the last seven years, Kris had been employed by M & E Plumbing. In his free time, he enjoyed playing Joliet Park District softball with his team from "Longshots". A sci-fi guy, he was a fan of Star Wars, Harry Potter and Marvel. His knowledge of sports stats was impressive; his favorite teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and LA Rams.

All friends and relatives are invited to gather Monday July 7, 2025 from 4 - 7:30 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd (at Essington Rd) Joliet. A prayer service will conclude the evening, beginning at 7:30 pm. Cremation rites will be accorded following services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kris' name can be made to The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
