Leanne M. Lantz
of Joliet, IL, died Sunday May 8, 2022 at Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center. Leanne was born December 20, 1956 to Jeanine (nee Snider) and the late Jimmie Lantz. She attended St. Francis Academy and then continued her education at Loyola University and ultimately DePaul University where she received her Law degree.

Leanne practiced family law in Joliet for nearly 40 years.
She is survived by her mother, Jeanine Lantz; sister, Lynette Wingate; nephews, Matthew Wingate and Kevin Lantz; nieces, Jaclyn Wingate, Stephanie (Matthew) Hartung, Jamie (Jeff) Biernacki and Carly Lantz. She will also be missed by her great niece and nephews, Emilee, Cayden and Nicholas, as well as many friends.

Preceded in death by her father, Jimmie Lantz and brother, Daniel Lantz.
Leanne’s hobbies included reading biographies, listening to classical music and being a master gardener.
As it was her wish cremation rites have been accorded.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Friday May 13, 2022 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet. A prayer service will conclude the evening beginning at 7 p.m.
