Age 61, of Tinley Park and formerly Joliet, IL passed away Monday evening May 2, 2022 after a long battle against lung cancer. Mary was born January 21, 1961 in Elmhurst, IL to the late Patricia R. (O’Connor) and John J. Graham; she was raised in Bellwood, IL.

Beloved wife of Mark Garcia; loving and devoted mother of Mark Garcia, Jr. and Morgan Garcia; dearest sister of Peggy (Gary) Fox, Jane (Tom) Young, Jim Graham, Jack (Joan) Graham and the late Tom Graham; cherished daughter-in-law of Tom and Judy Garcia; sister-in-law of Bonnie Garcia, Greg Garcia and Nancie Mohedano; dear aunt of Mary Beth, Kathy and Sean; Colleen, Liz (Zac); Kelly (Ryan) and Katie (Mike); Lucas and Sophia; fond great-aunt of 14.

Mary, known for her love and kindness, loved her family dearly and will be fondly remembered as a wonderful mother who was always present at her son and daughter’s events full of encouragement and support.

Visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet. Funeral services are Friday morning, May 6, 2022, 11 a.m. from the funeral home to Holy Family Catholic Church, 600 N. Brookforest Ave (Rt. 59) Shorewood, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at a later date at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
