Michael Casadei
Age 70, of Joliet, IL, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 22, 2023 after a long battle with prostate cancer.

Michael was born in Rome, NY, and moved to Joliet, IL, in 1964 where he graduated from Joliet West High School in 1970. He earned a degree in political science from the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma, before relocating to Los Angeles, CA, where he began his career as a commercial real estate consultant with Price Waterhouse. After his retirement he moved back to Joliet to take care of his parents. Michael had a larger-than-life personality and was a very successful athlete, excelling in football and baseball. Later in life, he was an avid sports fan and was incredibly passionate about music. He loved his family very much.
He is survived by his brother-in-law, Ronald Boese; his nephew, Adam Boese; and his niece, Jessica Boese, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph (2016) and Marie (nee Douglas) (2013); and his sister, BonnieJo (2019).
Private services were held at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home in Joliet with inurnment at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
