Age 92, of Joliet, IL passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Lightways Hospice Home of Joliet, surrounded by family.

Patricia was born March 28, 1930 in Joliet to the late Iola (McDonald) and Frank Bottino. She graduated with the class of 1948 from St. Francis Academy and attended the College of St. Francis where she studied chemistry. Patricia was employed for over 40 years in land development and as a property manager.

Surviving are her sons and daughters: Gregory (Susan) Peyla of Shorewood, Kimberly (David) Thornton of Joliet, Jeffrey (Viola Vega) Peyla of Joliet, and Laurie (Todd) Moore of Joliet. Her daughter, Julie Peyla Holladay, died in 2005. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Nicole (Ryon) Hinson, Seth Peyla, Emma and Ian Rambo; great-grandson, Parker Hinson; and sister, Marlene Richardson.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie; parents, Frank and Iola; former husband, Louis Peyla, and her sister, Sheila Werner.

Visitation for Patricia M. Peyla will be Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until prayers begin at 10:45 a.m at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 18 N. Woodlawn Ave., Joliet at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be made to Lightways Hospice, 250 Waterstone Cr, Joliet, IL 60431, Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus, 604 N. Raynor Ave., Joliet, IL 60435, or to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 18 N. Woodlawn Ave., Joliet, IL 60435.
