Ryan was a graduate of Coal City High School in Coal City, IL as a member of the Class of 2014. Ryan enjoyed playing football during his high school years. He spent the past decade building his career as a dedicated member of the Laborers’ Union Local 75 and an enthusiastic employee of “D” Construction in Coal City. Ryan truly had passion and a deep sense of pride for his work. His strong work ethic and tenacity earned him the respect of his peers and colleagues alike. Beyond his professional achievements, Ryan also had passion for his outdoor hobbies and his two family dogs, Lucy and Ella. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and loved nature and time on the water. While these moments all brought him great joy, Ryan was happiest when spending time with his wife, Haley and daughter, Meredith. They were the light of his life. Ryan’s joyful times captured his deep appreciation for life‘s simple pleasures and his adventurous spirit, creating memories filled with love and laughter. Some of these memories include days spent water skiing as well as snow skiing with his loved ones. Ryan loved traveling with Haley and Meredith. They spent many laughter filled days at the beach as a family. He and Haley enjoyed date nights, going out frequently to a variety of places like Top Golf and their favorite restaurants, but most important to Ryan was being anywhere and doing any activity as long as he, Haley, and Meredith were together. Ryan was able to make everyone around him feel special and would take the time to engage in any conversation he was having. He truly had a heart of gold and a personality that will be missed for a lifetime.

Above all, Ryan was a loving and devoted family man. He is survived by his cherished wife, Haley Ann DeBerry; their beloved daughter, Meredith Jane DeBerry; his mother, Marilyn DeBerry of Morris, Illinois; and his brother Jakob (Josie) DeBerry of Gibsonton, Florida.
