Timothy F. Harms

Age 43, of Morris, IL passed from this life, tragically due to an accident while working at a job site in Yorkville on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

Tim was born on April 20, 1980, in Joliet, IL to Marcia and Timothy C. Harms. He resided in Plainfield as a youngster and moved to Minooka where he was raised and educated, a graduate of Minooka Community High School, Class of 1998.

On September 1, 2007, he married Brianne Dabbs.

In addition to Brianne, his loving wife of 16 years, he is also survived by his beloved daughters, Sage and Lily; parents, Marcia and Timothy C. Harms; sister, Rachel (Chad) Wietting; father and mother-in-law, Mark and Cindy Dabbs; grandmother-in-law, Wilma Jean Voigts; sister-in-law, Shaina (Ben) Zelhart, and his nephews, Oliver, Wyatt, and Caleb. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He worked for nearly 20 years with his father at Harms Trucking and had recently been working for IDOT.

Tim enjoyed gaming. He and his buddy Andy logged many hours over the years playing various games online. He will be remembered for his humor and being a practical joker who never relied on a filter. He will live on in his girl's hearts. He truly adored them.

All friends and relatives are invited to gather for a visitation on Sunday, August 20, 2023, from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 1201 W. Rt 6 (at Deerpath Drive) in Morris. The afternoon will conclude with a service of remembrance at 4 p.m.

As it was Tim's wish, cremation rites will be accorded after services.

In lieu of flowers memorials in his name can be directed to his family.
