Joliet Pimp From Motel 6 Faces $750,000 Bail: Judge
Edward Booker has been living at the Motel 6 on Mall Loop Drive over by Interstate 55, Will County Jail records show.

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department has arrested 33-year-old Edward Will Booker the third in connection with allegations of criminal sexual assault and promoting prostitution.
Booker was hauled away in handcuffs and booked into his Will County Jail cell around 4:50 a.m. on Wednesday. His bail is steep, it was set at $750,000.
The Will County State's Attorney's Office of Jim Glasgow has charged Booker with two crimes of sexual assault, one count of battery causing bodily harm and two counts of promoting prostitution.

The complaint indicates that Booker's crimes happened between Sept. 10-12, court records show. The girl he is accused of sexually assault and hitting is underage, according to the charges.
"The defendant knowingly advanced prostitution in that he arranged or offered to arrange a meeting of persons for the purpose of prostitution," the criminal complaint read.

Will County Jail records listed Booker as living at 3551 Mall Loop Drive, that's the Motel 6 over near Interstate 55 and Route 30. The criminal complaint does not state the location of where Booker's alleged crimes happened.
One of the charges indicates that Booker "knowingly profited from prostitution by arranging or offering to arrange a situation in which a person, A.F., a minor, may practice prostitution."
Another charge states that on Tuesday, Sept. 12, "defendant knowingly without legal justification by any means made physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature to A.F., a minor, in that said defendant struck her about the body."
