Reels At Rialto: $5 Movie Lineup Revealed For 2020
Joliet's Rialto Square Theatre launched its monthly movie series in 2018. Tickets are only $5.
JOLIET, IL —The Rialto Square Theatre's $5 monthly movie series, Reels at the Rialto, begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, with the first show of 2020, Brides Maids, which includes local star Melissa McCarthy.
"Annie (Kristen Wiig), is a maid of honor whose life unravels as she leads her best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), and a group of colorful bridesmaids (Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper) on a wild ride down the road to matrimony," the Rialto announced.
Joliet's downtown Rialto theater, 102 N. Chicago St., was built in 1926, and it is regarded as one of the top 10 most beautiful performing arts centers in North America.

The Rialto waits until the fall to announce its final two monthly movies for November and December. They're usually Christmas-themed movies to coincide with the Rialto's performance series, Home for the Holidays.
About the movie series:
Reels at the Rialto tickets are $5 each, and will be available day-of at the Rialto's Box Office. Everything is general admission. Cash and credit will be accepted for payment. The Rialto also has a bar and concessions for available for purchase. All movies start at 7 p.m.
