Relatives Attacked Inside Hickory Street House: Joliet Police
William Wiedman complained of an injury unrelated to this incident, so he was taken to Ascension St Joseph Medical Center, police noted.

JOLIET, IL — A 27-year-old Joliet man from the 600 block of North Hickory Street was arrested by Joliet police following an attack inside his residence.
William Wiedman was delivered to the Will County Adult Detention Facility on charges of domestic battery, according to Joliet police.

- At 7:47 p.m. Monday, officers responded to an apartment in the 600 block of North Hickory Street for a domestic disturbance.
- During an argument in the apartment, Wiedman began to fight with one of his relatives. Wiedman’s stepfather attempted to intervene to stop the fight at which time Wiedman struck the stepfather numerous times in the face.
- Wiedman was placed into custody without incident. While being processed at the Joliet Police Department, Wiedman complained of an injury unrelated to this incident and he was transported to Ascension St Joseph Medical Center by the Joliet Fire Department. Upon release from the hospital, Officers completed processing of Wiedman, and he was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
