"The Rocky Horror Show" Live in Joliet!

The smash hit rock 'n roll musical in limited run at Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park Theatre June 19-28

Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park Theatre and Latitude 41 are pleased to present THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW by Richard O’Brien. This beloved send-up of sci-fi and horror B movies has a sexy, funny flair and features irresistible classics like “The Time Warp” and “Sweet Transvestite”. This show has been to Broadway twice, has the longest-running release in film history, and now makes its Joliet stage debut!

Here, visitors can view and “LIKE” all the fun summer events happening at the downtown cultural arts center on historic Bluff Street in Joliet. From the free “Concerts On The Hill” every summer Thrusday (41 years!), “Summertime On-Stage” Youth Drama Camp (15 years!) to the Battle of the Bands (1st year!), there’s a little something for everyone. Within the week, the Park launches its long-awaited, redesigned website, www.bicentennialpark.org .

The Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park & Theatre is located at 201 West Jefferson Street in Joliet. Uniquely situated between the I&M Canal and limestone bluffs, a few blocks from historic Route 66, the venue features an indoor theatre, outdoor bandshell, large pavilion, ten acres of scenic walkways, flower beds, historic markers and outdoor artwork. Indoor and outdoor events are scheduled throughout the year, drawing thousands of visitors annually to downtown Joliet, Illinois.
