Of Joliet, passed away at The Cottages of New Lenox, Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the age of 95 years.
Rosella is survived by her three loving sons Lawrence (Karen) Shiner of New Lenox, Leo E. (Teree) Shiner, Jr. of Shorewood and Thomas (Diane) Shiner of Cape Coral, FL. Her legacy lives on through her nine cherished grandchildren Lisa Marx, Christine Shiner, Christopher Worst, Kim Lindsey, Kaitlyn Worst (Todd) Copi, Sabrina Shiner (Brad) Price, Natalie Shiner, Steven (Katie) Shiner and Jillian Shiner (Joey) Manuele. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Leo "Bud" E. Shiner, Sr. in 2010 and her daughter Patricia Shiner Worst and grandson Timothy Worst.

Rosella, born on November 4, 1927, to Joseph and Catherine Aschenbrenner, graduated from St. Francis Academy High School Class of 1945. She began her career as a telephone operator before dedicating herself to raising her family with her beloved husband, Bud. A devoted member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Rose was active with the bowling league at Rivals Bowling, she loved to bake, dance and boat on the Illinois River. Rosella and Bud shared countless memorable winters vacationing on Fiesta Key in Florida, creating cherished memories with family and friends.
Funeral services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Tuesday, September 26th at 10:30 A.M. to Holy Family Catholic Church, 600 Brook Forest Ave., at 11:00 A.M. for a Mass of Christian Burial. In lieu of flowers memorials in Rose's name to your favorite charity will be appreciated. Interment Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M.
