Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm Kicks Off 31st Annual Pumpkin Fest

Siegel's has been selected by Travelocity as one of the most amazing corn mazes in the U.S.

CREST HILL, IL — Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm on Weber Road kicks off its annual Pumpkin Fest this weekend, and the new corn maze honors the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Brothers.

"Get lost in 10 acres or five miles of maze with Mario," marketing officials proclaim.

"The iconic Super Mario Bros. is frequently cited as one of the greatest video games of all time, and one of the best-selling games of all time, and has become prominent in popular culture," promoters for the annual pumpkin fest kickoff weekend notified Joliet Patch. "Everyone is invited to come out to try their luck in navigating through the 12 acres maze. We encourage everyone who takes on the challenge to post their photos with hashtag #SiegelsCornMaze."

According to Siegel's Cottonwood Farms, Pumpkin Fest: Affordable Family Fun on the Farm, opens daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting this Saturday, Sept. 25, continuing through Halloween and including Columbus Day.

General admission tickets include more than 30 unlimited attractions. This year's new attractions include: Mia & Miley’s Mountain Slide, Nany’s Goat House, The Whizzer, corn hole, a demonstration beehive in the Country Store with real bees. Food includes: smoked turkey legs, chicken, burgers, apple cider doughnuts, churros, funnel cakes and fresh baked pie slices.

Tickets to attend Pumpkin Fest at Siegel's are: $19.95 online for weekends and weekday prices; $24.95 at the site; the online weekends all-inclusive pass is $31.95; children 2 and younger are free.

Siegel's says it also offers group packages, discounts for military veterans, police and firefighters. Grandparents are free Monday through Friday with a paid grandchild entry, excluding Columbus Day.

Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm is at 17250 South Weber Road in Crest Hill.
