Sleepy Teen With Gun In Stolen Crest Hill Car Arrested: Joliet PD

The 18-year-old Plainfield teenager was found by Joliet police sleeping inside a stolen car in the 600 block of Vine Street, police say.

JOLIET, IL — Joliet police say an 18-year-old Plainfield teenager with a loaded gun was arrested around 8 a.m. on Tuesday after officers found Dylan Debolt asleep inside a stolen car from Crest Hill. Debolt's arrest happened in the 600 block of Vine Street, on the city's near west side.

Joliet police say he was arrested on charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a stolen car, unlawful possession of ammunition, having no Firearm Owner's Identification card and possession of marijuana.

After police made Debolt get out of the car, officers recovered a 9 mm handgun and marijuana was found in the car, according to police.
