Springfield Street To Close Temporarily July 25

On Saturday, July 25 from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. Springfield Street from Glenwood Avenue to Oneida Street will be temporarily closed to traffic. The road will be closed to allow a helicopter to transport equipment to the roof of AMITA St. Joseph hospital.

During the closure, flaggers will be present at the corners of Glenwood and Oneida to assist with local access. Through traffic will be detoured using Oneida and Madison Streets.

The backup date for this closure is Sunday, July 26. Questions should be directed to the Department of Public Works at 815-724-4200.
