Statesville Haunted Prison Scaring People Through Halloween Night

CREST HILL, IL — Halloween is coming up and that means everyone is entitled to at least one good scare. At the Statesville Haunted Prison, you can certainly fill that quota.

According to its website, you will be forced to find your way through 23 maximum security cells and come eye to eye with over 100 criminals that were “too evil to die.”

Running through Oct. 31, the Statesville Haunted Prison bills itself as being one of Illinois’ best haunted houses. 150 live actors participate and their main goal is to scare the hell out of you. On average, it takes between 50 to 60 minutes to get through the attraction, so cry babies should probably stay away.

Statesville Haunted Prison is located 5 miles south of I-55 at 17250 S. Weber Road in Crest Hill.
