"Summertime On-Stage" Youth Drama Camp - 15th Season!
Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park invites ages 5-18 to join the fun of creating a musical show!
Does your child light up with the thought of being on stage? The opportunity awaits in the “Summertime On-Stage” Youth Drama Camp June 15-July 12 at Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park Theatre. Now celebrating 15 years!
Open to ages 5-18, the indoor theatre camp welcomes all levels of interest and ability, as the creative arts play an important role in every child’s development.
The campers meet on stage, Monday through Thursday, while working on the classic musical, “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.” For the camp’s grand finale, students will present their musical to the public July 11 & 12. In celebrating the 15th “Summertime On-Stage”, drama camp alumni are invited for special recognition during the July performances.

According to age group, students learn will learn at their level: vocal techniques, movement, creative dramatics, theatre terminology, script work, choreography, voice projection, costuming, props, makeup and more. As well as acting skills, students will learn to channel their creativity, develop their self-confidence and build cooperation skills to achieve a common goal—a musical production! In addition, the high school students in the four-hour class will have hands-on experience with set design, sound booth operations and lighting.
AGES 5-11 meet 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm ($180). AGES 11-18 meet 9:00 am - 2:00 pm ($250.00). Those age 11 may choose to join either group. Tuition assistance is available this year, and payment plans are accepted. Students may be enrolled on the first day of camp.
