Taft Elementary School Welcomes New Principal

From Joliet Public Schools District 86:

Welcome Mrs. Doriane Henderson and Mr. Kenny Shane Johnson to Taft Elementary School. Mrs. Henderson will serve as principal and Mr. Johnson will assume the academic advisor position.

Both Mrs. Henderson and Mr. Johnson are veteran administrators in District 86. Mrs. Henderson has been an assistant principal at Pershing, A.O. Marshall, and, most recently, Lynne Thigpen Elementary School. Mr. Johnson comes to Taft from Dirksen Junior High where he was an academic advisor for the past five years. They also have elementary classroom teaching experience.
