Temptations, Four Tops Play At Rialto Tonight

JOLIET, IL - Tonight, June 15, marks the start of Rock The Block, a three-day outdoor music festival sponsored by The Forge. But Rock The Block isn't the only live music show in Joliet's downtown tonight. At 8 p.m. Motown takes the stage inside the Rialto Square Theatre. It's The Temptations and The Four Tops for a show that has been sold out for many months.

"R&B legends of nearly 60 years, The Temptations were lauded by Billboard in 2017 as the Number One R&B Artist of All-Time! Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, The Temptations, will be playing their classics in addition to tracks off their first new album in eight years, All The Time. All The Time features three new, original Temptations songs and inspired covers of songs by Sam Smith, Bruno Mars, John Mayer, Maxwell, Ed Sheeran, Michael Jackson, and The Weeknd," Rialto officials noted.

At any rate, it might wise to get downtown earlier than usual since parking might be difficult than usual with Rock The Block at the city plaza directly across the street from the Rialto at Van Buren and Chicago Streets.
