At the Preservation Park, "we'll have an opening set of music from the porch musicians, then a couple of bands, national touring artist Laney Jones and local favorite Arbor Creek," Placher said. "It's family-friendly: there's a playground for kids and my hooper friend Emily Bandera is bringing out a bunch of hoops for the kids to enjoy. Joliet Art Movement will be showcasing some new works from their City Of Stone And Steel exhibit on the patio at the USF Motherhouse porch."

Placher said the Joliet Park District partnered with him to create an additional "Concert In The Park" beyond their monthly Friday night concerts at Preservation Park.

"I've also worked with CAPA (Cathedral Area Preservation Association) and USF to create the afternoon porch music at a rotation of four nearby historic porches," Placher noted. " Also getting some kind support from The Voyager Group, owned by Cathy and Tom Cawley, Cathedral Area residents and Milano Bakery."
