Vysinka attends the team’s practices and home games, and the team considers him an honorary member.
“I have only one word to say about him,” said team member Jimmy Anderson. “He’s the GOAT. That means the greatest of all time.”

“I’m happy for them and for the team,” Vysinka said. “I like the Troy Baseball Team. They are a good team, and they are smart. I love them. I love the whole team. I always tell them I hope they win.”
“Dave has been around our program for the last eight years,” Head Coach Tom Knapczyk said. “He lives nearby and always comes around once the season starts. I gave him a hat, and he’s been a part of the program ever since. He never misses a practice or a home game. He shows up and cheers the boys on day in and day out.”
