Video: Chief Al The Elf Finally Gets Arrested

JOLIET, IL - Over the past month, Joliet Police Chief Al Roechner, who is perhaps better known these days as Chief Al the Elf, was spotted in several weird locations around the Joliet Police Station and elsewhere in Joliet. But, at no point was the city of Joliet's most infamous elf suspected of committing a crime. That changed on Saturday when Chief Al wandered onto the premises of the Old Joliet Prison. Finally, the annoying elf was placed into custody, hopefully for good.

The following YouTube video at the bottom of this story was produced by the Joliet Police Department and shared on their Facebook page late Saturday afternoon.

It remains to be seen what Joliet criminal defense attorney will want to handle Chief Al the Elf's legal representation at the Will County Courthouse. Top possibilities seem to include Chuck Bretz & Associates, Tomczak Law Group and perhaps the Law Office of George D. Lenard.
