Violent Plainfield Man, 27, Arrested In Shorewood: Joliet Police
Michael Antonson was taken away in handcufffs and delivered to the Will County Jail. Now he faces more domestic battery charges.
JOLIET, IL — A 27-year-old Plainfield area man from the 1500 block of Dale Circle is back in the Will County Jail for the second year in a row after Joliet police charged him with domestic battery. Michael Antonson also had an outstanding warrant for a previous domestic battery, Joliet police noted.
Antonson's latest incident happened around 2:15 a.m. on Monday. Officers were called to Black Road and Bronk Road for a domestic disturbance.

Officers learned that while Antonson was in a vehicle with an adult woman, he grew upset and began repeatedly punching her in the face. Antonson then exited the vehicle and walked away. Antonson was located by Shorewood police near Route 59 and Theodore Street a short time later. Officers arrived and placed Antonson into custody without incident.
Antonson had an active Will County arrest warrant for missing court for a previous domestic battery charge.
