'Where Are You Going?' Joliet Man With Handgun Asks: Cops
Joliet police say the officers recovered the handgun and determined that it was a BB gun.

JOLIET, IL — Joliet police officials say that officers recovered a handgun and determined that it was a BB gun following an incident in an east side neighborhood over the weekend. The incident resulted in the arrest of 32-year-old Michael Ortiz, who was later released on an I-Bond on charges of disorderly conduct.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, the details of the arrest are as follows:
At 9:18 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 600 block of Landau Avenue for a disturbance. A man, woman and an 8-year-old child were walking in the 400 block of Landau Avenue when Ortiz exited a house while holding a handgun and pointed it at the victims asking where they were going.

Officers responded to the house where Ortiz emerged from, and they located Ortiz standing next to a Hyundai Elantra. Officers observed a handgun on the driver seat. Ortiz was placed into custody without incident.
