Will County Coronavirus Cases Top 2,000
Will County Health Department data showed the number of new coronavirus cases increased by more than one hundred.

JOLIET, IL — The Will County Health Department announced Friday there have been more than 2,000 cases of the new coronavirus reported since March. Will County now reports 2,009 cases, an increase of 101 coronavirus cases from Thursday's health department data.
Will County also reported six more people have died from the illness, bringing the county's coronavirus death toll to 127.

Health Department spokesman Steve Brandy said the latest six deaths involved:
- a woman in her 60s
- a woman in her 70s
- three men and one woman in their 80s
