Will County Jail Blotter: Weekend Edition July 21

Some inmates find the Will County Jail an eye-opening experience.

JOLIET, IL - The work of the Joliet Police Department and the Will County Sheriff's Police Department never stops. Every day in Will County, criminal suspects are being apprehended and read their Miranda rights. They are placed into the back seat of a squad car and taken on a ride to 95 South Chicago, the Will County Jail. On Friday, July 20, at least 25 new prisoners were admitted into the county facility. That's a lot of newcomers.

Here's a sampling of some of the new faces who are staying in downtown Joliet until they post bond.

BROOKE BARGERY, 35, Coal City, arrested on a bench warrant issued by a Will County judge on charges of possessing controlled substances. Court documents indicate the Wilmington Police Department obtained a warrant for her arrest on charges of "knowingly possessing heroin" around Wilmington.
