Will County Jail Roundup April 1

JOLIET, IL — The following people have been taken into custody at the Will County Jail during the past 24 hours or so.

Bryon Baine, North Countryside Court, Braidwood, arrested by Braidwood Police on domestic battery charges.

Chavonte Jardon Herrod-Smith, 21, Manor Court, Crest Hill, arrested by Joliet Police on February charges of driving on a suspended license and August 2019 charges of speeding 26 to 34 mph over the limit.

Anthony Moss, 61, Hazel Crest, arrested by Manhattan Police on charges of possession of controlled substances.

Dwight Shumate, 39, Chicago, arrested by Joliet Police on charges of obstructing identification, aggravated assault of a peace officer and criminal trespass to a building.

Latoya Walls, 35, 1200 block of Raintree Court, Joliet, arrested by Oak Park Police on charges of theft by deception $500 to $10,000 and identity theft $2,000 to $10,000.

Anthony Williams, 23, North Beacon Avenue apartment units, Chicago, arrested by Lockport Police on a temporary police hold for Cook County authorities.
