The following people found themselves in handcuffs in recent days. Find out what they were charged with below.

JOLIET, IL — The following people were taken into custody by the Will County Sheriff's Department's adult detention facility on South Chicago Street in downtown Joliet since Thursday, Aug. 29.
Johnnie Knippenberg, 26, 400 block of Western Avenue, Joliet, arrested by Joliet Police on charges of felon in possession of a gun/vehicle/gang member, felon in possession of a gun and a temporary hold for Illinois Department of Corrections. Unrelated, back in November 2017, Joliet Patch ran a story that Johnny Knippenberg was charged with shooting a 28-year-old Joliet man in the groin and wrist on John Street, according to Joliet Police officials.

Justin Labhum, 20, 500 block of Meadow Lily Drive, Joliet, arrested by Joliet Police on charges of reckless discharge of a gun.

Oscar Parker, 41, Chicago, arrested by Will County Sheriff's Office on charges of criminal trespass remaining on land.

Eric Carpenter, 25, 500 block of Bellarmine Drive, Joliet, arrested by Joliet Police on charges of possession of a gun/land/gang member, possession of controlled substances and possession/use of a weapon/firearm and a parole violation from the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Nicholas Ward, 24, 700 block of Davis Avenue in Rockdale, arrested by Joliet Police on charges of felon in possession or use of a gun and possession of a gun/land/gang member.

Zane Joe Werner, 30, 100 block of Stone Street, Joliet, arrested by Joliet Police on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a stolen vehicle and burglary.

Uvaldo Valdez, 38, Calumet City, arrested by New Lenox Police on charges of battery, unlawful restraint, criminal sexual abuse/force and criminal sexual assault/force.

Andre Tucker, 20, 2900 block of Warren Dorris Drive, Joliet, arrested by Will County Sheriff's Office on charges of retail theft and possession of a stolen vehicle.
