Convicted Pimp Andre Dotson Leads Will County Jail Blotter
Other detainees include a man in Naperville charged with child abduction and several people charged with domestic violence.

JOLIET, IL - Andre Dotson is back in the Will County Adult Detention Facility and this time the 28-year-old convicted felon is being held without bond. Jail records reflect that Dotson's felony offense involved advancing the promotion of prostitution. The jail listed his current address as Rockford. A review of Dotson's Will County court files shows he got sentenced in August 2014 after pleading guilty to a felony offense involving promoting prostitution. He got a sentence of 180 days in jail, and was given credit for 162 days that he served in jail. He was also given 30 months probation. In 2016, Dotson was a no-show at a subsequent court hearing. His probation was revoked by a judge and a bench warrant was issued for failing to appear. Now, more than a year later, Dotson was taken into custody, around 10 a.m. Friday by the Will County Sheriff's Department, jail logs reflect.
